Hello! My baby boy is just shy of 8 weeks. He has been bottle fed breast milk and formula since birth because he would never latch. We have been feeding him exclusively formula for over a month now with the same exact bottles as always and all of the sudden he takes forever to drink it. It used to take him 20-30 min and now it sometimes takes him an hour! Sometimes when I pull the nipple out of his mouth it’s super suctioned like he’s been sucking really hard on it but not drinking the formula some how. Maybe he is playing with it? He just is all of the sudden a slow eater and doesn’t seem as interested in food as before though he finishes it eventually. He seems fine and not under the weather or anything. What could have changed? As mentioned, formula and bottles are exactly the same as always.
