How long will blue eyes last?

My baby is a month old and her eyes are getting more clear and more blue. Is there any way to know the final color? I have brown eyes, and my husband has hazel.

It can take anywhere from 9 months to 3 years for their eyes to actually stop changing. By their first year, their eyes are likely to change into their main color (blue, brown, green) and by 3 years they’ll be more defined (baby blue, hazel, bright green).

My son has blue eyes, Neither me or my husband do. He has green and I’m hazel, but we both have blue in the family. Blue is recessive, so if you both carry the gene.. then … tada … blue eyes! We asked the pediatrician and she said by this time we would start see flecks or changes, etc. 
I can’t remember if it was 3 months… 😅 But it is still possible for them to change up to 6 months- 1 year, just low chance. If they are staying true blue in the next month or two… I’d said good guarantee He’s got blue eyes!!

I think they'll stay blue, they are pretty blue. My doc said that if they don't stay blue or have blue in them at 6 months then they'll likely change to green, hazel or brown. My son's eye color was set at about a year. You'll get an idea of what they will be at 9 months or so.

They should stay blue. My brother and I both have blue eyes and are the only ones in my family with blue eyes
