Baby coughing for fun?

Question

Baby girl is 6.5 months old and for the past two days she’s had a cough. It’s nothing major and she’s her happy self so I’m wondering is this just something she’s learned to do and could just be doing it for fun? 
Also she’s had the hiccups a lot. Not sure if that matters!

Yes! If we aren’t paying attention to her she will cough and then look around for us to notice her and then laugh. It’s cute

My daughter does this ALL THE TIME. She's 13 months old and its not like we can just ignore her, because the one time we do it will be because she's choking. My husband and I just shake our heads.

Awww!!! My older son is 4 hears and I forgot they do that! It’s so cute!! 
My 5 month old just started reaching for my phone…I forgot about that too, not so cute hah!

Babies often cough to amuse the people around them, I think there is a very distinct difference between a real cough and a forced one though!
