I need advice! So my son is in pre-school in the 4year old class. He’s the youngest in there as they had to be 4 by December 1st and that’s his birthday. Well he goes to school Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am-11:45. I drop him off and either my mother in law or baby sitter picks him up because I work.

Well Wednesday the 3rd the teacher stops my mother in law and says there was an incident. Apparently another kid punched my son in the face…hard enough to leave a mark on his cheek. Mother in law was told it was being handled I guess. She also told me that the other kids dad just said his son is a hitter…well I just accept that they are handling it (maybe I shouldn’t have. Idk 😭). Fast forward to Friday the 12th my baby sitter texts me that when she went to pick up my son again the teacher stops her and said the same kid hit my son again!! She was told they are handling it again but again I have no idea what that means.

At this point my husband and I are beyond pissed. The teacher told my babysitter that my son “likes to pick” but I have no idea what that means and that in no way means he deserves to get hit in the face. We called the school and were told by the receptionist that the teacher is going to talk to the principal after school and then call us. Well no one called us. This is my first child and I have no idea what to do. My husband wants to basically go up there and demand the other kid be kicked out. Monday I’m going there and want to talk to the teacher to figure out what is going on I guess.

I guess I’m just asking the best way to handle this. I never expected this to happen to my baby and I just don’t know what to do 😭😭
