Sorry for the long post 😩

So I’m just wondering if anyone knows how I can get my 4 month old to sleep on his own he will sleep from 1-2am till 9:30am if he sleeps in my bed with me but he refuses to sleep in his cot, I’ve tried everything! White noise, putting nursery rhymes on, putting a blanket that smells like me in there and tucking it in, getting him to sleep then placing him in the cot is a no go because he wakes up the moment I lower him doesn’t matter if he’s out cold lol, putting him in there when he’s tired but not asleep doesn’t work. Leaving him in there to cry for 5-10mins (was recommended by midwife) doesn’t work he will just work himself up and cry real tears. I’ve tried laying in there with him then getting out doesn’t work either. I’ve also tried putting sleepy time scents in in his euky bear vaporiser I’ve tried a riff raff as well. When I say I’ve tried everything I mean it 😂 but i hate having him sleep in my bed it just feels so unsafe and I worry so much I barely sleep. He’s definitely not cold or hot in there either so I really don’t know what to do. Also he has been like this since he was born even in his co sleep bassinet he would barely sleep in it and if he did it was in like 20 minute increments the same with the cot he will either just scream when I put him in there or he will sleep but only for a very short period of time and then he gets very upset when he wakes up😅

I’m a FTM as well and I’m really at a loss on what I can do😢
