17 and pregnant (should he tell his parents)

Im a A+ student and this pregnancy was not planned at all i was on birth control at the time and it was my first time having sex my parents are okay with it but do not support my choice to keep the baby .The father 19 is scared of what his parents will say and thinks we are to young for this , he is not co-operating and we havent spiken for 2 months... im quite popular so the whole town is descussing my life and everyone has their own version of it .Should i talk to his parents myself ..should i try fix things with him ANY ADVICE ON THIS(please note english is my 3rd language
