10 weeks pregnancy issues

I found out I was pregnant a month ago. Took a home pregnancy test at 3+ weeks. I was an emotional wreck! I was struggling maintaining work, my 17 yr old daughter and the relationship I had. I had light spotting everyday for 10 days straight. I went to our local Health Centre, got my blood drawn.

From the first blood draw, I was told I was in the process of miscarriage (at 8 weeks), then from my second blood draw, I was told my HCG levels spiked up again.

I will finally now get an ultrasound next week.

My question is: anyone heard of this similar situation? My symptoms went away at 8 weeks, but I still get morning sickness and I cannot eat a full meal.
