My daughter was born with a thick head of hair. We were so surprised she never lost any of it!…..until 2 months ago. When she turned 9 months, it started falling out rapidly. Not in clumps; just all over like what happened to me when my pregnancy hormones finally wore off. We can tell her hair is definitely thin now but it’s not noticeable to anyone besides my husband and I.

We stopped putting her hair in ponytails and that seems to help some but it’s still falling out more than we’d like. It’s always all over her crib sheets and clothes. Did this happen to anyone else’s baby? Is this normal or should we be concerned and make a pediatrician appt?
