Are yall still going to family thanksgivings?

Baby due 11/20 and I have 3 sets of families no one being considerate I'll be a week post partum with a new born having no immune system yet not to mention zero sleep....oh yea and 2 toddlers too to load up and chase around too.  Everyone just assuming we'll be there and texting me to see what time we want to come.  I don't want to go at all and it's frustrating it's not even a thought in their minds it's not a good option for us to go....

We're actually having everyone over here. I'm not cooking, but it's easier than taking the kids out. My oldest was born 10 days before Thanksgiving and we went to my in laws and grandma's houses that year.

I am going to Thanksgiving at my aunts, but everyone is super considerate of the situation. They will not ask to hold her and I am very comfortable with my family. I however, will not be going to my husbands side as the situation is the opposite 🙃

So, this year I will be freshly PP as well, with a 1 year old on top of that. I'm having the baby the day after tomorrow and I'm sicker than a dog. We aren't doing anything with my husband's side and for my side my parents are bringing food to us and spending an hour or so and then getting the hell out.

We have Thanksgiving at our house every year. My husband and mom are going to cook this year, but we didn't send out invitations or anything like we usually do. We just told family if they want to stop by they are more than welcome as long as they aren't sick, but me and baby might be sleeping and I will most definitely be in pjs. We don't really entertain when family comes over anyways. 🤷 They all know where stuff is if they need it so I don't have to worry about them needing me to entertain or host them.

Yeah my siblings and parents will be coming to visit for a couple of hours but none of them expect anything on our end. I would say either invite them over or just make it clear your only priority being so freshly postpartum is to take care of you and baby this year so you won’t be going. 🤷‍♀️ As long as you are nice about it, you can’t be responsible for other peoples reactions/ selfishness.

My induction is scheduled for 11/21 so I already told everyone that we will most definitely be staying home for the holiday. If it goes anything like my first born then we will just be getting home from the hospital the day before and there is no way I am putting on regular clothes the first week postpartum 😂. I did however request someone to drop off a plate of thanksgiving food to me! If the 20th is your due date then you might even still be pregnant on thanksgiving. My first born was born 41 weeks 5 days!

I’m getting induced 11/22. We have a two year old son and will have a 3 day old baby. 
I LOVE Thanksgiving, so we decided to have everyone come to our house for the holiday. My MIL will be picking up a Thanksgiving meal from the market down the street and bringing it over. We will probably have 6ish people coming by. 
I know I’ll be tired and wearing a diaper, but I’m so excited to celebrate our first Thanksgiving as a complete family of 4 with everyone ☺️

My family typically doesn’t meet on thanksgiving day and meet at a different time after and at my house. Therefore, we will celebrate as usual but I will be almost two weeks since my c section (which is in the morning)!
