Stay at home wife
Any homemakers on the here. What has been your experience being a Homemaker. How do people react. My parents have been proud of me. I've worked before full time. It was hard to work and commute home.
I am now a Homemaker. I don't know how long? Sometimes I feel guilty for not working.😕 Not bringing in any money. We can afford it. I feel blessed. The other hand I could work take all that money and put in savings.
I've learned how to save money, and cook homeade food. I do all the cleaning and laundry.
My husband works 50 hours a week and 80 hours in the summertime. He really can't do much.
Anyone struggled with the pressure to go to work?
I feel a lot happier less depressed. Being a Homemaker then I did working a fulltime job. Never seeing my husband..I have freedom now. I make my own schedule. Typically ill make my husband breakfast not everyday. But sometimes I will. Then when he leaves. Start the dishes and laundry take care of the pets. Plans out our meals. We have saved hundreds on groceries and gasoline
I feel like it's my calling to be a homemaker. This spring we be gardening. I will be taking care of the garden. Our garden this year didn't go so great.
I can't help feeling guilty not working. Sometimes my husband will say. You can get a part time job. He dosent understand most places won't let you chose your schedule. Work you past 35 hours. It took me 2 years just to get morings at my old job.
