I'll be 8dpo on Sunday coming, it's also my late dad's birthday so I was hoping to test then too. I know it's early but how many people tested at 8dpo and got their bfp? X

I had kinda the same thing this month. It was my late grandmothers birthday on 8DPO, and I was so sure I'd get my positive that day. 12DPO and still nothing. Stay positive, but don't expect to see it that early. Baby dust!
