Does having regular periods mean you’re fertile?

Just curious. 
I’ve always had periods like clock work. I never considered myself not able to get pregnant. After trying for the last 6 months; I’m starting to wonder… could there be something wrong with me? I know that most people who have fertility issues don’t have regular periods.. and regular periods are usually a sign you are healthy.. idk.. would love to hear if any of you have information on it :)

Not saying that 6 months of TTC isn’t hard, but 6 months isn’t long enough to worry about infertility yet. Even with no issues, it can take up to about a year to conceive

You can have regular periods and still have problems. 
But it also can take a healthy couple up to a year to become pregnant.

My mom had regular periods her entire life. It took 2+ years to conceive me. It took her 4+ years and fertility treatments to conceive my sister

No. I'm as regular as it's possible to be and I have unexplained infertility. Nobody can figure out what's causing it, unfortunately. It can take up to a year for a healthy couple to conceive, though. If you are still having issues after a year, you'll want to see a doctor.

It took my husband and I 7 months to fall pregnant with a healthy pregnancy. One prior chemical. I also had very regular periods, and zero reason why we shouldn’t have conceived. Turned out, we were hot tubbing too much! Hot tubs and high temps are a KILLER for sperm! It takes 3 months after a large temperature spike for sperm to return to normal. Once we stopped soaking regularly, we fell pregnant within 3 months.
