Baby cavities

My son is 2 years old and has 2 cavities in the front. As soon as I found out, I stopped breastfeeding which it’s only been a week.

I took my son to the dentist and the 1st place said to get them filled.

The second dentist suggested that I wait since it’s only 2, and said to just start using fluoride toothpaste.

My mom is miss no it all and said to wait but she did that with my niece and they pulled her front tooth out completely at the age of 4 and she’ll be 6 in December and it still hasn’t grown in.

Any ladies have any suggestions? Should I wait and just keep blushing 2x a day and hope it goes away on its own, or should I just get them filled ?
