When do you tell close family you are expecting?

The reason I ask is because last time I was pregnant we wanted to wait till we saw the heartbeat but we never did ( we lost it) so we had to tell family well we was expecting but now we are now! So that was really hard on me!

We told immediate family straight away. Good to have that support should anything happen! Everyone is different though and has different dynamics, up to you 💕✨

I have never been pregnant so I am not 100% on how I would handle it (hopefully we get pregnant next month). Ideally I would like to tell my husband right away, tell only close family and close friends around the 8 week/ first heart beat mark, and then everyone else after the 12 week mark. BUT I am terrible at secrets and will probably tell my best friends right away.

Told my bff and sister right away. Husband told his sister already. Telling my parents on christmas, ill be 12 weeks on that day. Telling my 6 year old right before christmas, want to have my first appt before i tell her. Telling work and other friends in january since ill be in my 2nd trimester.

My husband told some family members right away, I waited until it was confirmed after the first prenatal appointment after getting the hgc levels back.

I'm waiting as long as possible. If I can go my whole pregnancy without my family knowing I'd be happy. The only person I care to really tell is my dad, but he talks to ally sisters so I'll hold off for as long as possible
