I test twice or 3 times.

​Normally 11am, 4pm and 9pm with cheap tests and once I get a line which isn't super faint I use the digi at the 11am test time to take the guess work out.

Hi.. There's no perfect timing on checking ur surge. What i did is, it may sound expensive, but i checked on different time of the day. At first they told me just to check 1x a day at the same time (4pm) on my first cycle and i totally missed it. So decided to do this and it worked. I tested early AM and got a smiling face. I tried again that afternoon and its fading. I also tried 2 different type of OPK. One with lines and one that is digital. One with lines, helps you to kinda see if your getting close to ur surge cuz the lines improves its color little by little. But the digital one is more straight forward. Its only a neg or a pos. i hope this helps. GL..
