Young girls looking 20?

Question

Every year younger girls 13-16 are looking older & older. Why is this? Whenever I was 13, I actually looked it! Why is this okay? I know someone who accidentally got a 14 year old pregnant, because the girl looked way older, and she even lied about her age!!!
Young girls taking pics for Instagram or Facebook, practically wearing nothing & their parents are OKAY with this?!?!?!
What has this world come to?

Don't blame teenage girls when the world around them is constantly trying to sexualise them as soon as they turn 12.

They're pressured to fit the image society is prescribing them with.

I remember hearing this exact same thing about teenagers when I was a kid, and a teen, and in my 20's. It's not some new trend. Teenagers like to experiment with their personalities and their sexualities. That sometimes includes clothing and makeup choices. It's normal. The movie Thirteen (from 2003 btw) deals with the topic really well.

I agree . I'm 15 and I dress very professionally and people say it's 'grown' . I'm not provocative or anything it's just because I look older for whatever reason.

Considering a lady in our mom group is letting her 14yr old get implants i am beyond confused. Her 17yr old has a 9month old so i am baffled why she thinks breast implants are appropriate and will keep this from happening to her 14yr od.

Because young girls are sexualized by the media and that influences their behavior drastically. They feel the pressure to be "sexy" and react to it.

I'm so glad that even though I'm not a teenager anymore I still look 15, hopefully I'll age well because of it 😏

If you think knowning how to put on make properly at 13 makes them look twenty, it doesn't. Most of the body shapes of that age is a dead give away. It could be genetics, it could be the spray tans, but since it's on such a mass scale I vote reckless parenting. I notice that younger parents often have the worst kids. They're just comming out a being a themselves and want to be a cooler mom/dad than their own parents, the want to be their kids friend and give them what makes them more appealing to peer pressure. Not all are think this, I've seen plenty of 30 year old moms doing the same thing. It just seems to be more so with teen and 20-25 year old parents here.

Who the heck are you judging young girls? It's called the evolution of fashion for one, and for two it's not their parents dressing them at 13. All these kids have for an influence is what they see, that's not their fault.
