5w3d no heartbeat

Hey guys , so last night I went to the hospital after having Some pain on the left side . Turns out I have a complex cyst on my left ovary and 4 tiny simple cyst on my right. (I took letrozol to get pregnant)

In regards to baby the doctor said “we can see a gestational sac , fetal Pole, etc but no heart beat . We don’t know if it’s inside of the uterus or not. “ (Immediately I thought to myself how can you see all of that but you can’t see where it is??

He proceeds to tell me it’s probably to early to see a heartbeat but my HCG numbers which are 13,000 indicates there should be a heartbeat .

I am now extremely nervous and I don’t know what do to. .what do you guys think ? Is it to early ? Are my HCG numbers to high ?
