Do I need to keep testing opks?

Hi ladies, today is CD17 and I received my first positive last night (CD16/730pm). I took a test this AM (4am) and the test looked nearly identical to last nights (positive but not “peak”). My husband & I had sex last night after seeing the initial positive and I had slight pinching cramps all yesterday so figured it was coming. That being said, should I continue to test until getting a “peak” or is this suffice? ✨

Once you are getting darker tests, but not quite positive I would test twice a day, because LH can peak as early as 12 hrs.  So you could be missing it only testing once a day.  Also I would keep testing my whole cycle.  Some women try to ovulate twice per cycle.  So you may get 2 peaks and not even know it if you stop at the first one.  LH let’s you know you are trying to ovulate.  Doesn’t confirm that you do.  If you are using BBT that can confirm by having raised temps that stay.  Or testing progesterone 7-10 dpo.  Baby dust!
