What is your 6 month old eating?

Please list recommendations on what your LO has liked/disliked? Anyone start stage 2 purées yet? Anyone doing BLW? If so, drop your fav recipes. I’m undecided and think I’ll do a mix between the 2. Just really nervous as I’m a FTM! Any recommendations/ advice greatly appreciated ☺️

We feed him whatever we are eating we just cut it and serve it appropriately according to BLW. He LOVES all foods.

Our 6 month old eats whatever we are eating! Last night we had pot roast. She loved all of it! She eats sandwiches and ground beef and chicken, rice and eggs yogurt. There really isn’t anything off limits except honey and pop corn! 🤪

We started eating rice cereal around 4 months. Now at 6 months she eats many different things including oatmeal, mashed fruits(bananas, apple sauce, mixed purées) as well as soft rice, mashed beans, mashed potatoes. She had her 6m check up yesterday and doc gave the go ahead to introduce meat(chicken, turkey) to her as well as peanut butter!

We just started at 6 months with oatmeals and purées before talking to our doctor about BLW. She gave us the go ahead and we’ll be starting shortly. Right now she’s only had rice cereal, oatmeal, apples and bananas. The bananas were not a big hit although she’s warming up to them as she really likes to eat!

At 6 months we are going to drop purees and do strict BLW. If you still mix purees and table food its considered traditional weaning.
