Too early to tell family?

Hi everyone! I wanted some opinions. I am going to be 9 weeks and 4 days on thanksgiving. I was thinking of telling mine and my husbands extended families on that day. Do you think it’s too early? We had an ultrasound at 8 weeks 1 day and the heart rate was 174!

I don’t think it’s too early but it’s up to you! Would be so fun to tell everyone at Thanksgiving. Just consider if you would also be comfortable telling everyone if things didn’t work out.

I just found out that I’m pregnant with our rainbow baby this morning I got a test last night at food city to prove my husband wrong but I was proven wrong lol I’m 4 weeks 4 days according to my last period so I’ll be 5 weeks 2 days on Thanksgiving I’m waiting until after 20 weeks to buy anything or announce it to family my fluid completely leaked out from the beginning of my pregnancy until 20 weeks with my second son and my husband’s first son he was born at 20 weeks weighing 11 ounces and 9 inches long I’ll probably wait until a little after 20 weeks to tell my family that way I know everything is going good and there’s no problems

I told my immediate family from the start. I am a very emotional person. My train is thought was, if I had a miscarriage I'd be sad for quite a long time and it wouls be easier to tell them why if they knew I was pregnant first.

I’m 38 weeks w my 5th and haven’t told anyone 🥰 probably won’t even tell them when I go into labor. I’ll send a Christmas card out w a pic of the baby.

I think you should tell family whenever you are ready. With my first pregnancy bee waited to tell anyone until 12 weeks, only my coworkers knew for safety reasons. With my second pregnancy we hadn’t told anyone yet, we were waiting for 12-ish weeks again and we had to tell our parents as I was having a miscarriage and we needed help with our daughter. My third pregnancy we told our parents and best friends at 6 weeks and it was helpful to have their support when I lost that pregnancy as well. I will probably tell our parents early again if I am able to get pregnant again.

I told my family at 9 weeks, because that's when we got our first ultrasound done. Its totally up to you. Some people want the support in case something happens, some people prefer not to have to tell people if something did happen.
