Wasp nest in my house ?

Ok I don’t know shit about bees , wasps & it’s also fall arnt these bitches support to go dormant or die or something ? Anyways I other day I see’s a black wasp it looks like a wasp except for it’s all black & I’m a single mom . I’m scared of bugs like genuinely petrified I called my brother he came and killed it . Now it’s a few days later there’s another one I know it’s not the same I seen the others corpse . So I’m wondering how these MF keep getting in & what the F I do to keep them out . Anyone have any helpful information?

Had that issue last summer. They love dark areas. Had a wasp nest in our fireplace and I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. I would call pest control. Wasps are aggressive. I heard they can go dormant during the winter but don’t die off sadly.

I just had this happen in my basement where i was finding dead wasps every so often by the laundry. Turned out they actually came under the siding of the house and build a wasp nest in our basement. We called a bee guy to kill the nest, then it was removed.

I'd call an exterminator and let them know you're seeing them around the house. Do you have any open vents or anything? We have a wood burning insert for the. Fireplace. And if we leave the vent open we get all kinds of bees in the house but once we closed it we didn't have any other issues unless they got in the house from an open door or window
