So me and my husband are currently TTC for about 2 years now. At the moment we are at the point to “if it happens it happens and if it doesn’t then it wasn’t meant to be” stage/ state of mind.

Anyways his daddy died last month in October (it was devastating to him and the family for very obvious reasons) but before he had the chance to become a grandpa 🥺.

Now I’ve always brought up ‘adoption’ to my husband and he’s always “put it to the side” or brushed it off. Recently (I’m guessing because his daddy) he told me I need to look for a “adoption package coming in the mail and for me to keep my eyes out”. I was thinking no way he’s serious and it had to be a typo. I bought it up to him and he brushed it off (didn’t answer my question about it) like always. But then he gets a phone call that’s about it. He told the lady very specific things to help us with the process “yes me and my wife are both employed and we are considering it”. I guess she asked about our living situation and he says “yes we live in a apartment right now but currently looking for a rent house”. I guess he asked about the address cause next thing he says “yes that’s it and if you can send us a package in the mail so we can read about it and learn more about more I would appreciate it thank you”

So long story short keep your fingers crossed that we can adopt a baby! (I’m not being picky any child will do but if I could and pick I hope it’s close to a newborn and a girl) 🤞🏼🥺💕
