Do I need a jogging stroller too?

I’m so confused about the necessity of two different strollers. Do we really need both or can we choose either a regular stroller or a jogging stroller?

This works from infant stage to toddler & woudlnt need separate strollers. Wheel unlocks to swivel when walking or locks to jog.

I got a Jeep Jogger stroller. It comes with adapters for a newborn car seat. It’s very easy to maneuver on our walks (no jogging yet).

You need a jogging stroller if you’re going to run. You need to wait until baby is a little older to run with them though, and you cannot run with them in the car seat, they must be in the stroller seat. 
If you aren’t planning to run, you can still use one, it just isn’t necessary. We love our BOB because it cruises easily on the beach, the trails we like to walk etc. uppababy just came out with a running stroller that I would love to grab, but really don’t need. 
As a note, not all strollers with 3 wheels are safe for running. A prime example is the baby jogger city mini GT. It looks like it could be, but it is not specified for it. Be sure to read the specs for each stroller before making a decision.

Joggers are better for off-roading and actual jogging with an older baby. We use a jogger for walks in the neighborhood. I used the car seat click stroller out and about until we switched to a convertible car seat; now we use an umbrella stroller.

We got a chicco jogging stroller becuase most of our walks are on dirt/gravel roads. You can attach infant carseats to most jogging strollers. We did put our baby in it before he was 6 months, it was okayed by his doctor since he had great head control and was sitting unassisted pretty well. We never use it for running, we just needed tires that worked better on unpaved surfaces. We recently got a cheap compact stroller for travel and literally only use it for travel. So get a stroller that will suit your needs and if you need another, find a cheap one online or secondhand.

I would only get a jogging stroller if you plan on actually jogging or need a stroller that “off roads” easily. If you’re going to be using the stroller for more day to day purposes then I don’t think it would be needed. They also take up a lot of room in the car compared to more compact stroller options.

Jogging strollers can only be used once babe is sturdier, closer to sitting up independently. Littler babes can’t handle that positioning and jostling (though maybe there’s a jogging stroller that allows you to attach an infant car seat? I’m not sure).
