Dating someone older than you?!

Hey! I’m thinking about dating someone older than me, maybe 8-10 years older. Have anyone dated someone much other than them ? If so how was or is it? Any advice or tips? I’m low key tired of the guys my age, it’s like they’re always got something in the closet smh. So I’m thinking the next man I date, I want to go for someone older.

My about to be former husband is 21 years older. As much as I denied it there was always an unspoken power dynamic.....hence our separation. I used to always say yeah go for it but honestly in my biased experience I would say hell no

My partner is 7 years older then me. Age isn’t a factor for us, we get along and love spending time together and we were at the same life stages when we met. We have been together for  almost 6 years and are due to have our first baby any day now. 
I think as long as you are at the same life stages, have the same interests and acknowledge the age difference it doesn’t matter in the slightest.

My husband is 7 years older. I’m my experience, men aren’t as mature so them being a little older is helpful. We have had a few little squabbles over dumb things because of the age gap and him assuming I should know something that before my time but nothing serious lol I had the experience of dating a guy 5 years younger than me and other than the sex, the relationship was so bad, he was so immature and liked to play mind games, poor communication. I’d say try it out and if it’s not working you can end it.

My husband is 11 years older than I am. It works for us. He had the maturity I was looking for when we started dating that I wasn’t finding in my own age group. I wouldn’t change a thing other than that statistically, he will die before I do 🤷🏼‍♀️

DO IT! My husband is a good bit older than me and when we started dating it was soooo refreshing to be with a man that knew more than me, had more life experience, was established and had money, owned property, etc etc. When I dated men my own age I always ended up feeling like their mother because they were so immature. Men are typically 10 years younger maturity-wise than their actual age. 
I say go for it. Find a man that is older, already established in life, and doesn’t need you to help him “build”. 😘

I think the age alone shouldn’t just be a case of you want someone 10 years older, it all depends on the person too. I’ve always preferred older men but I’ve never got with someone with as big an age gap as we do before until I met him.
