When can I have sex again after c section?

I know this is probably the dumbest question but my ob/nurses didn’t mention it when I left the hospital, so I’m unsure

When your doctor clears you. You should have checked up appts and they will tell you then when you can resume sex. Usually between 6-8 weeks.

Whether you give birth vaginally or via cesarean, you should wait a minimum of 6 weeks and discuss with your doctor at your 6 week postpartum appointment. 
Aside from just having a serious abdominal surgery, you have a dinner plate sized wound in your uterus that needs time to heal. Having sex before the 6 week mark increases your chances of infection.
Do know that pregnancy is possible before your period returns (as ovulation comes before a period), so whenever you do have sex, use protection.
