How Long to Pump to Rebuild Milk Supply?

Question

I have a Motif Luna double electric pump. How long and how often should I be pumping for to rebuild my milk supply? I'm only getting drops right now

When I need to recover my supply or increase I switch to pumping 30 min every 2/2.5 hours and power pump around 2am and on weekends power pump during the day as well when my husband is here to watch both kiddos. I also eat oatmeal or an oat cereal with oat milk every morning during those periods.

I’d pump every 3 hours for 30 minutes and put a power pump in there a couple of times a day. Also hydrate!!

If I’m not mistaken, it’s more about session frequency than length of pump session if you are looking to up your supply. Not sure if you are also breast-feeding or not but there’s a few other things to consider such as do your flanges fit right? Do your pump parts need replacing? For example most silicone parts (like duckbills or membranes) need to be replaced monthly if you are pumping a bunch of times a day. Some people are more responsive to pumps than others.
