Something for the sleep deprived to try!
This is for the parents out there who’s little bundles simply will not sleep at night. We’ve been having an absolute nightmare with our baby that has just turned 4 weeks. We tried this last night and I was able to get 1.5-2 hour stretches of sleep at a time in his crib. He usually MUST be held at night to go to sleep and then goes mad if you try to lay him down. Now we’ve only tried it the once but wanted to share it now for the sleep deprived who are looking for ANYTHING out there just in case it helps!!
-swaddle with blanket
-red night light
-play ‘womb sounds’ playlist all night
-put in next to me crib (did both drowsy and asleep)
-put your pillows to the very edge of your bed so your head is basically lying next to theirs
-place your hand on them
He was asleep so quick and stayed that way even when he’d stir a little. Think it was reassuring for him. Hope this helps someone who is desperate, and I hope it keeps working for me!!!! 😆😆
