How soon to tell family!?!!

Ah! So haven’t even gotten to my first missed period, but my and my husbands parents will all be together this thanksgiving!
The rest of the holidays either I work or he works and our parents don’t plan to be together for any of the others! 
Do I just risk it and tell them on thanksgiving!? Or is that bad luck!?? 
Also I’m dying inside, even at work I want to tell everyone! My brain is like work baby baby work…

I told people with my last pregnancy early (somehow people found out) at around 8 weeks…I ended up miscarrying at 13w3d, which is a less than 2% chance of miscarrying.  We personally will not tell anyone this time around until closer to 20 weeks.  It was really awkward having to be like not pregnant!
However, we probably would have told SOME people around 12w anyway since it’s supposedly the safe zone.  I don’t feel there is a safe zone anymore, so I look at it as if you are comfortable then go for it.  Why worry about telling or not telling people and enjoy being pregnant.  Whatever you choose is best, but if you do tell people you aren’t jinxing it!

I am pregnant with our first at 4 weeks and *trying* to wait until Christmas to announce. My sister in law just announced she’s pregnant so I don’t want to steal their thunder. But it’s so hard keeping this secret from my mom.

I have already told my parents and sisters and I’m just over 4 weeks. I’d want their support and love if anything were to go wrong so I see no harm in telling them and sharing my excitement and joy. It just depends on how you see it.

I’ll be telling my family at thanksgiving dinner. I’m 3w 5d and the other day I was at my parents and had a hard time explaining why I couldn’t take Advil for my migraine🤦🏽‍♀️ I told them it was because I vomit medicine when I have one. I also been feeling nauseous for the past week and haven’t shook the feeling but been hiding it when I see my mom. This is my 2nd pregnancy so my family knows I got really sick early on with my first and might catch on. So I’d rather tell them sooner than later

I’m waiting until Christmas because my niece just announced she is pregnant and I don’t want to steal her thunder. We have also had two chemical pregnancies this year so I am quite cautious. 
I am telling close friends though so I don’t burst!

I’m waiting. It’s killing me but I’ll do it. Having been through miscarriage, I waited til week 14 with my first. We’re waiting to hopefully get to gender before we tell the parents.
