Positive ovulation or pregnancy?

AF is due tomorrow, I decided to take an OPK instead of potentially wasting another pregnancy test and the OPK is positive! I know that some women have an LH surge at the end of their cycle. Any advice? I want to test so bad but I don’t want to be disappointed tonight.

Take a test! I had a positive OPK first also after already confirming ovulation that month through temp. I just did it to see and it definitely came up positive and so did the pregnancy test shortly after.

.dk why people are acting like lh strips don't turn positive when you are pregnant... I have blazing positives on lh strips and I'm pregnant. They say the lh strips do detect hcg and they can often show before a pregnancy test since levels are low in the early stages.

Congratulations!! Saw your update on BFP! To answer your question, LH and HCG are chemically similar, OPK can’t tell the difference but Pregnancy test can, so HCG can cause a false positive on OPK.

Just saying I took one first and it immediately came up positive and that’s how I knew to take a pregnancy test & sure enough it was also positive! They do detect both! Good luck 😊

Ladies can you help me out. I’m around 9-10 dpo. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. I’ve had symptoms like nausea/backache and a terrible headache since 4 days ago. I took an ovulation test strip and it came back  blazing positive this morning it’s more red in person. It was also taken within time frame

That’s not how it works. Opks are for detecting lh to know when your about to ovulate and pregnancy test detect hcg. you need to take a pregnancy test.

Mine started turning positive again so I tested…BFP! It’d be worth testing if this isn’t the norm for you.
