How many weeks?

Question

At how many weeks did you guys start buying baby clothes? I’m 22 weeks which I know I still have a long way to go but it hasn’t been in my mind to buy so, it goes blank on what I’m supposed to get. I’m a first time mom so what type of clothing should I get? Thank you!

I’m 25 weeks and already have a ton of clothes 😂 mainly just cute outfits. I heard baby’s wear vests and bodysuits sleepers a lot during the first few months so stock up on those.

I think I bought some around the 5 month mark just to get it out of my system but mostly I didn’t buy a lot of clothes. Between two baby showers, grandmothers, and well meaning people with older kids, I have enough clothes for my son that I don’t have to buy much of anything for the first year of his life. I had to buy some of the “first” outfits and some sleepers but aside from that I had what I needed. I should note that I had two co-workers that gave me two big boxes of clothes that their sons didn’t fit in anymore.

22 weeks here too! i always start off with a few sleepers and a few onesies and build off there! i prefer pants with the footies so get a couple of those for the early months,   socks, etc.. i shop newborn to 0/3 and then once i notice them moving on from newborn i go to 3-6 so i’m not buying a ton at one time. newborns and the early months truly don’t need a lot!

I had my baby shower at 22ish weeks and I'm 24 weeks tomorrow and have everything.  It's never to early to buy and prepare.
