Hi Everyone,

My son was born at 34+5 so went to the special baby unit and was being tube fed as couldn't take bottle or breast, he's 15 days old and home taking bottles of expressed milk. I've been trying to breastfeed him directly but he will only do it sometimes.

Has anyone else been in the same position? I'm just really finding it tiring as I have to spend time expresing then feeding so it takes longer, especially during the night. I'm also stressing about expressing enough as I don't have much back up.

I'm genuinely thinking about switching to formula in the next few weeks if he doesn't pick up breastfeeding better.

Just looking for others thoughts/opinions, anyone who's been through this themselves.
