crush probs

so i have this friend group with 4 guys and me(m) and this other girl(k). (k) is talking to one of the guys(t), and already dated another one(a). the other guy is (v). so i have a crush on (j) bc he is funny, cute, nice, and shy. we’ve had multiple group hangouts and he’s so sweet. we share a lot of things in common like music. i’ve had a crush on him for prob like a month, but here is the problem. he is shy, so i get mixed signals from him all the time. i try to text him when i can but he’s kinda a dry texter with everyone. idk if i should just give up bc i don’t know if he likes me. and i don’t wanna out myself bc if he doesn’t like me back it will be awkward af and the friend group hangouts will be v weird until we get over it. idk what to do.
