Help with outfit(skirt)

Hi I normally don’t wear skirts but i recently was gifted this and I’ll feel bad if I give it away so I want to try wearing it. I’m not sure what what compliment it since the skirt is a little long(almost to knee). It’s been cold recently and i don’t know if i should wear a sweater or a long sleeve, what color should it be, tight or loose etc.. I’m planning on going shopping soon for black friday so if anyone has any ideas i’ll be happy to hear thank you so much!
