I'm in hospital I went in for an iron injection and things went a bit downhill.

It was so scary, I’ve never in my life had something like that happen….. I was looking at my phone waiting for the injection and I couldn’t even read simple words and I thought that’s really weird, so I put my phone down and then the nurse came over to start the injection and she was asking me about my labours with my first two and I couldn’t string a sentence together, it was like I couldn’t remember but then I would start telling her and stop and forget what I was saying and then I just burst into tears, my blood pressure spiked and I was just all over the place. Then I would be ok and then it would come back in waves…. I knew everything I wanted to say but I couldn’t get anything out, they even had flash cards and it was a picture of a key and I couldn’t tell them what it was…. Weirdest and scariest moment of my life! 😣

My brain scan has come back clear, and no pre eclampsia, I honestly thought it was a really bad migraine but they have since said it was a seizure 🤔 they have just given me steroids in case i have to give birth. The nurse just came in and said “your results came back from your scan and your results are ok, I was sure you had a stroke, so that’s good to know it wasn’t” 😳

I’m still in hospital as I failed all my physical exams for my cognitive abilities thy showed I did have a seizure. They said seizures can be quite exacerbated during pregnancy, I also have hypothyroidism and have had Hyperemesis.

My OB is talking about inducing me around 36-37 weeks to avoid this happening again. Has anyone else experienced similar or induced at 36 weeks??? It will be the week of Christmas 😫
