Ingrown hair cysts?

I have this painful pea sized lump thinking it’s probably an ingrown hair.. any idea or recommendations for creams or removal? Or is a visit to the gp the best bet? Sorry for the gross TMI pic😣

Personally, I squeeze them and remove the ingrown hair.

Please use a warm compress only and do not squeeze it. That’s either an inflamed pimple or an inflamed ingrown hair. If the area seems hotter to the touch than other parts of the nearby skin you should see a doctor. There’s a decent chance that whatever it is is infected. It’s not a huge deal but it might start hurting if you don’t get it check out and taken care of.
