HELP How many diapers should I be buying for each size? New mommy here

I wouldn’t stock up. Baby may have reactions & then you’ll have a ton of boxes to return.

I’d just get one pack each of newborn and size 1. They might be too big for newborn when they’re born, or they might be in that size for a few days, a few weeks, you never know! And you might want to try out different brands for fit, or for how your baby reacts to them, etc. I definitely wouldn’t stock up for a little while.

For sure don’t pre buy a ton of diapers. Just buy a small pack of newborn and go from there. We stocked up on generic diapers and will end up having to donate them because our son has very sensitive skin and we can only use huggies special delivery diapers

I wouldn’t stock up in the smaller sizes. If you have a baby shower, lots of moms bring newborn and size 1, and you’re little one may even grow out of those sizes before you even get through them!
The most popular size for buying in bulk is size 3. My son moved to size three when he was around 6-7 months, and he’s been in them ever since, he’ll be 2 in February lol
