Wrong for not paying for nails?

I went to get my nails done and it was the worst service I’ve ever had. A man was working on my nails for 3 hours. All I was getting was a fill in. The man kept going over my nails so hard with that drill thing. So hard that three of my nails started bleeding. Then on top of that, a couple of them are uneven. The man kept putting some yellow powder on the parts that started to bleed. I requested someone else to finish them, but he ignored me and said twice that he would pay for them. A woman offered to fix them, but I refused to stay there any longer. I told them twice that I wasn’t going to pay for them. I’ve never experienced anything like that before. They both kept trying to get me to come back so they could fix them, but I didn’t want them to touch my nails again. It’s not just that they’re uneven, but my nails are now bruised, cracked

and a little bloody. They hurt and burn.

Was I wrong for not paying? I should have left after they started bleeding.

My hands did not look like this at all before I walked in there!

Edit to add: Thank you ladies. I’m a kind-hearted person, so I did feel bad for not paying. I went there because my coworker goes there and she’s never had a problem. Maybe she had someone else. I did look at the reviews after, and most of them were bad.

Edit to add 2: thank you again everyone. My cuticles are in so much pain this morning. I posted a review with pictures and I did not hold back. My coworker couldn’t believe that they did me like this. 😭
