Sleeping/Gas

My baby boy is 5 days old today. It seems he is having issues with sleeping. I had to use formula until my breast milk came in. We feed him the formula about 1oz-1¹/² oz. We pace him and burp him in between. He does spit up some. It can vary in terms in how much (little or a lot). You can tell he has gas and it is painful to him. We always sit him up for 30 minutes after each feeding. He is tongue tied (not sure if that makes a difference). But it takes us hours to get him to settle because he is crying and crying and does not want to sleep even after getting the gas all settled and diaper changed. He is swaddled. He can sleep throughout thr day, but we want to switch his days and nights. Need any and all help. Thank you!
