How many DPO before you test?

How many days do you wait after your ovulation should I want to test. Just finished our first cycle TTC and I’m antsy to test but don’t want to test to early. Best tests to use if testing early?

Implantation doesn’t happen until 6-12dpo and it takes a few more days for hcg to rise to levels where it shows on a test. Until implantation happens you’re not pregnant and any symptoms are due to your normal cycle. Do yourself a favor and don’t test until at least 13dpo - you just run the risk of unnecessary disappointment prior to that.

I think if depends on what you would find worse…a negative test or your period arriving (hopefully you’ll get neither this cycle…but I hate seeing a negative test and then knowing I’ve wasted the money when AF arrives 🙄) I got a VFL 11DPO before x
