Would a uterine prolapse be seen at 6 week postpartum check up?

My child is 2. I recently had some polyps removed from my uterus that required surgery. My O.B scheduled a follow up appointment when he told me I have uterine prolapse. He said they told you have a prolapse right? I said no. The O.B doing my prenatal care did not do a vaginal exam after the birth of my child. The first time anyone actually examined me was in surgery 2 and a half years after delivering my baby. I’m wondering if this is something my O.B could have caught at my 6 week check up? I obviously didn’t have a prolapse before my pregnancy, cannot think of anything else that would have caused it. I’m just a little pissed off since we were planning for a second baby but now I need to go physio and sort things out since prolapse can cause complications in pregnancy.
