Just found out I’m having TRIPLETS

I had a less then 1% chance of triplets on a 100mg dose of clomid. It wasn’t even our goal. We just needed help with one. I had a chemical miscarriage at the end of august on my first round of clomid. We skipped a month and then it happened!

First ultrasound showed 1 baby measuring 6w and then two empty sacs. I was told to come back after 2 weeks to confirm blighted ovum or something endometrial and in a rare case, multiples. So we go to our appointment yesterday which was 2 weeks later and right away my husband and I see that the two other sacs have white blobs and visibly beating hearts! So all three were there! 😱

The tech said what happened is that I ovulated the first time and had one egg fertilize. Then I ovulated AGAIN and two separate eggs fertilized. Baby A is 8 weeks, baby B is 6w6d and baby C is 7w1d. All with their own sacs and placentas which is fantastic! And really strong heart rates averaging around 160’s.

If anyone remembers, I posted about Culver’s Chicken tenders and how they looked like little babies in an ultrasound. Then how we saw rainbows a few days later….all good signs for our rainbow babies! (Pics of that below)

If anyone else has multiples, what is your best advice for me before their “due date”?
