Am I injecting my PIO in the right spot? I followed the instructions but for me it’s so so so painful and I keep having numbing on my legs and the doctors are trying to tell me I must have injected in the wrong spot but won’t correct me.

Looks right to me. I try to go to the upper, outer part of the circle. Are you doing anything to help disperse the oil? Such as, not icing, heating it up either body heat (don't use a microwave or a heating pad- it'll lose its properties), using a heating pad after, massaging the spot aggressively, moving afterwards etc. Also what time of the day are you taking your shots?

I found that doing it further to the outside of the circles was less painful. I did have a shot within the approved circle that caused my butt cheek to go numb and shooting pains. It was towards the bottom inside. The shooting pains lasted about 2 weeks and has been gradually getting better. I’m off the shots now since my transfer wasn’t successful, and the pain is almost all gone after a month. I kept a calendar on where I did the shots  (drew a diagram) and if it hurt or not, so in the future I can refer back to it. Otherwise your circles look pretty good, but I’d avoid the very bottom and inside since it may get too close to the sciatic nerve. 
Also I warmed the oil up in a heating pad for about 2 minutes before drawing it up, lied down with a pillow under my crotch, and tried to relax my butt muscles before my husband gave the shot. He pulled the skin tight before going in. When it hurt a lot he did admit to injecting it faster or not getting the skin very tight on those occasions. Right after he rubbed the area for about 2 minutes, then I got up and squatted and walked around. I also put a heating pad and rubbed the area more for about 15 mins after. I only did the shots for 3 weeks but I never got a knot.

I do the shots by myself because my husband is too scared and I can’t feel this much pain. I have to admit I was so scared for the first one because all the horror stories I heard but it wasn’t that much painful… 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you are wearing jeans the outer upper corner of the pocket is where you would go. Or if you put your hands on your hip with your fingers forward. Where your thumb lands about there that spot. Where you have it though doesn’t look wrong maybe just try to go more outer and a little higher. When my husband does it I’m laying down and I try to relax my muscles and not tense up. You have to go in fast like a dart, the slower you go it’s way more painful 😣 . I also massage it after wards to help disperse the medication and use a small heat pack right away. That also helps thin the progesterone to disperse it.

I’ve found that when I ice the area 5-10 mins prior to the shot, it’s painless.  Don’t feel a thing.  Then I massage the area for at least 5 mins afterwards.  The days that I don’t ice, I automatically regret it.

It does look right, like others said try shifting within the circle, up or put a bit. I also agree with the other commenter, warm up the oil in your bra or arm pit before injection and use heat after the shot. I just got a wash cloth really hot and had my husband use that to massage it right after my shots. Unfortunately, even with these tips it still hurt for the entire 12 weeks I was doing the shots. Hang in there!
