Second baby typically larger than first?

Question

Statistics show that your second baby is often larger than your first. Is this still true if your first was a boy and your second is a girl, because girls are smaller in general? Would love to hear experience and size of your children if your first was a boy and second a girl!
My boy was 9lbs so I’m really hoping my second won’t be any bigger😂

First girl, 8.7 born at 41 weeks
Second boy, 8.1 born at 37 weeks
Third boy, 8.5 born at 38 weeks

I’ve read/heard that girls are bigger than boys. 🧐 
My first, girl, was over 10 pounds!! 
My second, boy, was just under 9 pounds 
My current pregnancy they are saying she’s measuring 2 weeks ahead.

So both my kids were born at 41+1 so they had the same amount of time to bake lol 
My first, little boy was 9 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches
My second, baby girl was 10 lbs and 22 inches
In my case it was true! But I am older than my brother and I weighed 2 whole pounds more than he did at birth- it’s definitely interesting! 
This time I am pregnant as a surrogate and I’m so curious how big this baby will be and how much is genetics vs how my body and placenta can nurture baby.

My daughter is in general much smaller than my son. He never wore newborn clothing - she’s 5 months and wears 3 month clothing 😅
He’s 3.5 now but his growth percentiles we’re all above 90% his sister is much smaller and only in the 18th percentile for weight.

My first two were girls, and they weighed 6lbs 1oz, and 6lbs 13oz consecutively. However, my 2nd has always been a bigger person in general, and my 1st is very petite. They are 5 and 3.5. now, and my 2nd is 5lbs heavier and an inch taller than my 1st, lol.
