First interview tomorrow, but tons going on (any advice)
Basically I got an interview tomorrow for a cashier job, I don’t have a vehicle so the place I applied is basically down the street and it’s only part time. I needed something part time because we’ll me and my husband are finally broke after going through our savings. My husband has been sick for over 2 months with something unknown, we’ve been to the ER three times, all his blood work turns up fine and apparently referrals from hospitals don’t work at this gi doctor office that he has to been seen at, the clinic we go to for primary care for him won’t see him for 2 months so that leaves us with needing to go to an urgent care that will actually accept his insurance since one we’ve been to doesn’t. We can only go to these places when my brother is free from work to drive us and we have 2 toddlers, we use to work elsewhere but it was quite far and for less money so this job is better as it makes more for not long because my husband wouldn’t be able to take care of the kids all day because he’s horribly fatigue and struggling with heart palpitations and can barely do much without feeling very weak. So 4 hours is legit all I can get so he doesn’t get worse. He’s suffering from peptic ulcers and has been on multiple meds from ER and has had blood in his stool but can’t get him seen at GI doctor still. But it’s the horrible fatigue he suffers, he can barely walk down our stairs, takes him forever. Doctors find nothing blood related wrong with him, he’s not anemic or anything, they even tested for Lyme disease. Also I applied literally Sunday and they called today which I didn’t expect.
Problem, is my son has an appointment on the 9th and my daughter on the 13th, both in morning. would they let me even get those days off if they higher me for morning shift instead of the afternoon? My first job it was barely an interview because my husband had worked there and was with me, this is legit my first one alone and the anxiety is insane.
