Hey Mamas or Soon-to-Be Mamas!

My husband and I just started trying to conceive this past month. I stopped taking birth control right before we went on our honeymoon. I took a test the day of my expected period and it was negative. I’m a little discouraged but I know it’s our first month trying just wondering if anyone else has had experience going off of birth control (what symptoms did you experience , how long after going off did it take you to conceive)? This is our first baby and just want to know what to expect and have some realistic expectations. My gynecologist told me to try for six months and if we don’t have any luck to come back in…thank you for the support/advice/tips!
