I never moved the baby to a separate room or anything for naps. My oldest was 21 months when my second was born. And when the youngest was born, they were 21 months and 3. I always had the baby nap in the same room (living room) the toddlers were playing in so he got used to their noise long before he was past the newborn/sleep through anything stage. He's 18 months now and still takes his nap in the living room and can sleep through his 3 and 4 y/o brothers playing around him.

Do you mean physically? We do 90% contact naps. We shoot for at least 1 nap in the bassinet/crib per day but it’s ALWAYS short, an hour or less.
