Infected vaginal stitches positive strep b
I am 1 month postpartum. I just found out my stitches are infected but the doctor told me I’m healing fine and prescribed antibiotics to me yesterday (Tuesday December 7th). This is my second child and the first time I’ve had my stitches infected so I was a little confused. I know I tested positive for strep b so I was wondering if that had anything to do with it? Has anyone else had infected stitches and also tested positive for strep b?
