What to wear!

Ok tomorrow is my first ultrasound and I know this sounds silly but im super nervous knowing that Im going to be raising the baby on my own. I have no idea what you wear to these things being this is my first pregnancy. It would ease my mind a bit if I had ideas beforehand.

Wear what you normally would on a normal day. It makes no difference. All they'll do is lift your top up (I tucked mine into my bra) and pull your pants down slightly so they have access to the top of your pelvis 😊

Yoga pants! Easy to pull down and stay down for ultrasound.

Something easy to take off or pull down - if they do a transvagibal since its the first one you will undress from the waist down anyway for part of it.

Always just wear something comfortable an stretchy. My first ultrasound was also my first doctors appt so I had to give a urine sample get a pelvic exam and Pap smear then I had a transvaginal ultrasound so I had to pull my clothes off a lot. If you're early on in your pregnancy they'll probably do a vaginal if you're further along all you'll have to do is lift your shirt and pull your pants past your hips.

Whatever your comfortable in, you may or may not need to pull your pants down a little bit, don't be nervous they'll tell you what to do hun. I've never had to raise a baby on my own and the 1st of everything is exciting and also a bit nerve wracking so that's perfectly normal! You will do just fine.

If you're on your first one it's usually transvaginal because the baby is so small, so basically it doesn't matter what you wear because you're going to have to take everything from the waste down off and cover up with a piece of paper sheet and they'll insert the wand and you'll see the baby that way! The other ones though just wear a loose shirt and pants that you can easily pull down and tuck under because those will be on the belly with the gel and stuff. :-) Its really not bad or scary. You're going to do great!
