strip club

my boyfriend and i have this mutual friend and back in like spring or something our friend brought up taking my bf to a strip club for his 21st (in november) i was not okay with it at all. and i thought he was joking at first like ahahah he’s turning 21 lol yanno. then on my boyfriends birthday he had sent me a audio message saying “i’ve been asking ….. when we’re going” and i know my boyfriend wouldn’t go. he’s not that type of guy and it was getting on my last nerve bc our friend wasn’t respecting our relationship so i blocked him on everything after telling him to respect our relationship and him just saying “cool”. he texted me last night on something i forgot to block him on asking why i blocked him so i told him and he’s like “it was a just a joke but if you think like that, fine” like how would you guys feel?? i’m just not comfortable and i don’t appreciate a friend not respecting my relationship even if it’s just a joke.
