I was told to give my 10 day old infant glycerin suppositories but wasn’t told how much of it to give. I don’t want to hurt him😭 somebody please help

Nicu nurse here! We usually just bend off the tip of a full suppository for a NB, about 1/4 of the whole supp. But I would call your doctor and ask, not sure if you would have paediatric sized ones or not

There should be instructions on the box the bottle came with our in a pamphlet. They usually include dosages.

Who told you to use a glycerin supp? Are you breastfeeding? They are only meant for occasional use. 
Sometimes babies don’t poop for 10+ days!
